Fishing Gear Handling Training

Transas fishing bridge module is intended for training navigators in the safe ship handling and control of fishing gear in various fishing conditions, including on the surface and under water.

The fishing bridge module also enables complete training in all aspects of classic navigation. The use of highly realistic models of the ships, ship equipment, fishing gear and fish finding devices gives improved trawling and seine-net fishing tactics.

Fishing Bridge

The Fishing Bridge module provides fishing vessel personnel with training in:

• safe manoeuvering in the setting of fish gear;
• search and detection of fish shoals;
• adjustment of fishing gear;
• fishing gear handling while catching in fish shoals.
