May 2010 – Hamburg,Germany. Transas Marine, Hamburg (Germany), has been awarded the contract for two simulation systems that will be delivered and installed onboard two ships operated and owned by shipping company Intership Navigation Co. Ltd. (ISN).

May, 2010 – Transas has completed VTS system upgrade in one of the busiest Indonesian port – port of Surabaya. Contract is honoured by Indonesian Ministry of Sea Transportation. All scope of work was coordinated and controlled by Transas representative in Indonesia – PT MultiIntegra.

May 2010 – Norway. Transas has developed and delivered a new simulator for monitoring fuel consumption and emissions. The customer, Rörvik Safety Center (Norway) has designed a training concept called EcoShip which is supposed to change the mindset of officers and open their eyes to that part of the problem that they can do something about.

With these words and a bursting champagne bottle, Mrs. Gesine Frerichs, assistant to the management of Hartmann Offshore GmbH, performed the honors at the 'Virtual Christening' of Hartmann's newly build MOSS 424-type Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel at Nautitec's Transas Full Mission Bridge Simulator in Leer, Germany.

April, 2010 – Transas has launched its new DNV certified solution for direct connection and communication from Transas ECDIS/RADAR on the Bridge to the shore via Transas Firewall and Antivirus Protection system, TFAP. TFAP is used for safe transfer of data, such as Electronic Navigation Charts (ENCs), chart updates weather forecasts etc.

April, 2010 – Transas has started to equip Cardiff Marine Inc. fleet with its Dual ECDIS system. Cardiff Marine has a fleet of over 90 vessels, comprising bulk carriers, product tankers, VLCCs and drilling vessels.

April, 2010 – Port of Wellington, New Zealand has recently been upgraded with eminent Transas Navi-Harbour VTS system. The contract was a result of competitive tendering process. Greater Wellington Regional Council that announced tender selected Transas system following the extensive market research.

April 2010 – Greece. Transas Hellas has recently delivered DNV class A bridge simulator to the Cosmos Training Centre in Piraeus, Greece. The contract includes supply of the latest version of Transas navigational simulator Navi-Trainer Professional 5000 (NTPRO 5000) with total horizontal visualization area of 280 degrees, including aft projection.
